An original pastel by Bill Suttles measuring 12×16″
Off The Easel
Bill Suttles has been painting daily, secluded in his studio, atop Buzzard’s Roost in North Georgia -while social distancing. The result is a diverse, large body of new work. My father uses this time to explore new techniques, media, and methods that he is calling his “Off The Easel Collection.”
We are making these new works available here, unframed and unmatted, fresh from his easel, unexhibited in any of his galleries. Because of this, adjustments have been made accordingly to the price.

About Bill Suttles on ArtJolt
Bill Suttles on ArtJolt is maintained by his son, Todd Suttles. My father and I started this site during the first Covid19 self-isolation period. My dad, who is 89, continues to paint every day as he has his entire life, and I am now doing my part to bring my dad’s lifetime of work to a greater audience. Over his lifetime, he has painted thousands of paintings sitting in private and corporate collections all over the world.
As is typical with most artists, my father has never been one to toot his own horn. If he can create his art and magically have it find a happy owner, he is most comfortable. For most artists balancing the line between creating and promoting is an awkward experience. My purpose in creating this site is to bring him the exposure that will enable him to experience the accolades I feel he deserves but won’t pursue.
Thank You for visiting us and please tell your friends about my dad’s art. – Todd Suttles, 2020
